Come walk with me she whispered
He stepped into her view
The light was glowing on them
She said I'm here for you

He held her to him closely
Upon his chest her face
She felt his love so warmly
What magic in this place

He tilted up her chin
His smile so gently warm
Said to her my darling
I've waited oh so long

Kissed her very sweetly
Her heart was beating fast
So tightly held each other
He found the path at last

The light above was shining
She said come dance with me
They held on to each other
Their souls in harmony

When the dance was finished
He looked at her and cried
Their eyes upon each other
The tears will now subside

She smiled at him so shyly
Her eyes cast to the ground
He picked her up and held her
Then slowly turned around

Disappeared like soft mist
Like clouds just drifting by
Heavens glowed with diamonds
Two souls in love now fly.

I forgot.... A Sad Love Poems

I forgot what life is all about ...

About life isn't the parties or the hook-ups ...

As I sit and leave the world behind
I write a poem that comes to my mind
My words are gentle loving and kind...
I have a poet's heart

When I look into your deep brown eyes
As I feel your touch, I fantasize
I respond with soft whispering sighs...
I have a lover's heart

I long for a love that I can keep
And for a goodnight kiss before I sleep
Sometimes in the quiet night, I weep...

My daytime dreams are of life and such
At night I dream of a lover's touch
Some people may think that I dream too much...

I stand on my own two feet each day
I work very hard to earn my pay
I'm proud of myself in every way...
I have a survivor's heart

There is one thing that I hope to never own
That would be a heart that is made of stone
Even though at times I'm so alone...

I know my heart has been very blessed
For it will never be second-guessed
The memories I hold dear are best...
